The contents of this site have been provided by members of the 243rd Assault Support Helicopter Company (ASHC) and those associated with the unit. Countless events took place from 1968 until 1972 when the 243rd ASHC stood down. This is a small representation of what took place during those years of service to the people of the United States of America. These men served proudly and with honor throughout their tours in a hostile environment. Some “gave all” and did not return, for some it was their only military experience, for some it was part of their chosen career – for all it was a life changing experience.
